A Comfortable Stay at Zentis Osaka Hotel

When I book a hotel that’s a member of Design Hotels, I feel like a kid waiting to stay at Disneyland. If they are a member, I know that the property is vetted to be a comfortable accommodation that values thoughtful design. Zentis Osaka met my expectations which made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped foot into the property.

A beautiful, modern Interior

In my search for hotels in Osaka, Japan, the Zentis Osaka hotel stood out with its soft color palette—which is one of the first things you’ll notice upon walking in. Muted, soft color ways bring me calm, which is reflected in my own home and why I naturally gravitate to accommodations that share this preference.

This Osaka hotel’s lobby natural stone and wood textures and at the center is a geometric staircase made out of beautiful limestone. The walls are lined with books you’d find at your chic, artsy friend’s home (book titles include names like Kelly Wearstler and Zaha Hadid). Situated amongst the wall of books is the discreetly tucked away elevator that will take you to your floor.

A spacious room

We stayed in a Studio room, which was a decent size by Japan standards at 25 sq. meters and smartly laid out. There was adequate storage space for the traveler who likes to put their things away, as well as small comforts to help you feel a little more at home such as coffee, tea, and dining ware. Zentis Osaka also provides very comfortable pajamas to use during your stay. I also love that it’s commonplace for hotels in Japan to provide room slippers. This omits my need to pack my own travel slippers.

Near Osaka train station

The Zentis Osaka is in the quieter side of the city, but still near Osaka train station (approx. 10-min walk) and a few minutes’ walk to smaller stations like the Watanabebashi Station (approx. 5 mins). You’re a 20-min ride from Dotonbori, but having stations nearby makes it easy to get around. We took the shinkansen here from Tokyo and thought it was convenient that the hotel is also fairly near to Shin-Osaka Station (a 10-min taxi ride).

Final Thoughts

Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or with the whole family, Zentis Osaka Hotel offers a range of accommodations to comfortably suit your needs. From cozy standard rooms to spacious suites, there's something for everyone here.

If you're looking for a hotel that combines contemporary style with cozy comforts, look no further than Zentis Osaka. It's a sanctuary where you can unwind, recharge, and use as home base while you venture out into the city and make unforgettable memories during your time in Osaka.
